1) All participants who attend the award ceremony will receive one soda.
2) Awards for Striped Bass will be presented to the 3 longest fish (in case of ties, the earliest recorded fish takes precedence). One prize per person, per species.

4) A drawing for additional raffle prizes will be held at the award ceremony (must be present to win).
TOURNAMENT RULES & CONDITIONS
1) All fish must be hooked and landed from the waters between the westernmost tip of Napeague State Park, east. All areas must be accessible on foot or by wading. Swimming and boating are prohibited.
2) Each participant must have an OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM/PARKING PERMIT. Those with beach vehicles must obey 4-wheel drive regulations.
3) All fish must be weighed in and recorded before noon on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Montauk Anglers Club and Marina within two (2) hours of catch. Total length to the nearest 1/4 inch.
4) All Stiped Bass must be photographed with both official measuring tape and tournament tag prior to release.
5) All Striped Bass photo entries must be recorded in person on or before noon on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Montauk Anglers Club and Marina within two (2) hours of catch. If weight station is closed, photo entries must be submitted within two (2) hours of reopening. Email, text, or other submission will not be accepted.
6) The minimum qualifying weight/size limit is:
Bluefish: 5 lbs.
Striped Bass: Minimum of 28 inches with no maximum, total length to nearest 1/4 inch. All Striped Bass must be released.
7) Awards will be presented for the 3 longest Striped Bass and the 3 largest Bluefish. In case of a tie, the earliest recorded fish takes precedence. One prize per person, per species.
8) Anglers may not enter more than two fish per species during the contest
9) Fish must be weighed to one hundredth of an ounce.
10) Fish will be gutted at the discretion of the official weigh in station.
11) THE FISHERMAN MAGAZINE reserves the right to be solely responsible for judging. In case of disputed entries, the tournament co-sponsors reserve the right to disqualify entries.
12) Employees of the Long Island State Parks Region affiliated with the tournament, all Sponsors and Corporate Contributors are not eligible for award prizes.
13) Be a responsible angler - free enrollment in the Recreational Saltwater/Marine Fishing Registry is required for any registrant 16 years or older.
Upon receipt of application, Tournament Tag and official measuring tape will be given or mailed to you. If you do not receive it by Wednesday, October 1, please call (631) 321-3510.
