SCOUTING AMERICA: ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE

Bayard Cutting Arboretum welcomes Scouting America to complete the requirements needed to earn their Environmental Science merit badge.

While earning the Environmental Science merit badge, Scouts will get a taste of what it is like to be an environmental scientist, making observations and carrying out experiments to investigate the natural world.

Scouts are asked to wear Class B attire, bring a bagged lunch, field journal, pen and a blue card signed by their Scoutmaster. It is also recommended that Scouts review requirements 1, 3c, 8a, 11 and bring in photos for 2a and 7b ahead of the program.
