OUTSIDE PERSPECTIVE: NATURE JOURNALING WORKSHOP
Observation is the act of slowing down and noticing the world around us. Nature Journaling is a tool for recording our observations. It can be used for scientific understanding, artistic expression, or even as a mindfulness practice.
In this workshop participants will be engaged in an interactive presentation on topics such as botany, phenology, and morphology. This will be followed by hands-on activities to foster their very own Nature Journaling practice.
Meg Marchica will be your guide throughout the workshop. As a passionate botanist and educator, her aim is getting others in touch with the natural world around them so that they might experience the magic it has to offer.
All supplies included and all skill levels welcomed. This program is intended for participants age 16+.
